Serves 4-6
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages Sapporo Ichiban Sriracha Yakisoba
  • 1 ½ pounds chicken wings
  • ½ cup flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1 ½ cups club soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • Canola oil for frying

Directions

STEP 1

Using a mallet or rolling pin, crush up ramen noodles and place in a bowl. Set aside.

STEP 2

In a new bowl, combine ½ cup of cornstarch with flour, club soda, and seasoning from attached packets. Set aside.

STEP 3

In a separate bowl, combine ½ cup of cornstarch with baking powder, salt and pepper. Set aside.

STEP 4

In a high-sided pan, heat approximately 3-4 inches of oil over medium-high.
Once oil is hot, take a chicken wing and dip it in the dry mixture of baking powder, salt and pepper.
Then, dip your wing in the wet mixture and add to your hot oil for frying.
Fry each wing until both sides are golden brown and remove from pan.
Repeat with all of the wings, working in small batches so as not to overcrowd the pan.

STEP 5

Take your fried wings and dip them in the dry mixture once more.
Then, dip in wet mixture until wings are coated. Finally, dip your wings in the crushed ramen and return to your frying pan.
Fry wings until they are golden brown and your chicken is cooked through.
Repeat with all of your wings.

STEP 6

Serve fried wings on a tray alongside your favorite dipping sauces.
