Creamy Garlic Peanut Ramen

A quick, creamy, nutty twist!

Serves: 3
Cook Time: 15 minutes

 

Ingredients:

 

  • 2 packs Sapporo Ichiban Original noodles
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp Japanese mayo
  • 1 tsp ground garlic
  • 2 tbsp of peanut butter
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Green onion for garnish
  • Lime juice to taste
  • Chili oil to taste


Directions

 

 

STEP 1

Boil the Sapporo Ichiban noodles according to the package instructions.
Drain and set aside, saving 1 cup of the cooking water.

 

 

STEP 2

In a large bowl, whisk together the ramen seasoning packets, eggs, Japanese mayo, ground garlic,
peanut butter, red pepper flakes, honey, and sesame oil until smooth and well combined.

 

 

STEP 3

Slowly add the reserved hot cooking water to the sauce, whisking continuously to create a creamy, cohesive mixture.

 

 

STEP 4

Add the cooked noodles to the bowl and toss until evenly coated in the sauce.

 

 

STEP 5

Plate the noodles and top with chopped green onion, a squeeze of lime juice, and a drizzle of chili oil for an extra kick. Enjoy!
