STEP 1
Preheat the oven and bake brownies according to the box instructions. Set aside to cool.
STEP 2
Crush the ramen noodles by hand or food processor and transfer it into a small mixing bowl.
STEP 3
To a medium size pot, add the cane sugar and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Do not stir constantly and allow liquid to form.
Only stir every few minutes until it completely melts and you achieve a dark brown color.
STEP 4
Remove from heat and quickly add butter.
As the mixture starts to bubble, stir/whisk immediately until the butter is melted and well incorporated.
STEP 5
Add the heavy cream, salt, vanilla extract and ramen seasoning. Mix well.
STEP 6
Transfer the ramen noodles to a large mixing bowl and pour in the caramel mixture. Mix well until all of the noodles are coated.
STEP 7
Top the cooled brownies with the caramel ramen mixture and use a rubber spatula to create an even layer.
STEP 8
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight before slicing into pieces.
