Ingredients

  • 1 pack Sapporo Ichiban Original
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1 piece chicken thigh
  • 2 cups Water
  • Green onion for garnish
  • 1 soft-boiled egg

Directions

STEP

Heat cooking oil in a pan. Add minced garlic and chopped green onion, and sauté until fragrant.

STEP

In the same pot, add 2 cups of water and sake.

STEP

Add the chicken and bring to a boil.

STEP

Flip the chicken and continue cooking on low heat until fully cooked.

STEP

Remove the chicken from the pot and set aside.

STEP

Add the ramen noodles to the same pot and cook for 3 minutes.

Turn off the heat and stir in the soup base from the packet.

STEP

Transfer to a bowl and top with sliced chicken, green onion, and a soft-boiled egg.
